Ladies
Ladies within the Queen Anne Enclosure are encouraged to dress in a manner as befits a formal occasion.
Ladies are kindly asked to take particular note of the following:
A hat, headpiece or fascinator should be worn at all times.
Strapless or sheer strap dresses and tops are not permitted.
Trousers must be full length and worn with a top that adheres to the guidelines above (i.e. strapless or sheer strap tops are not permitted).
Jackets and pashminas may be worn but dresses and tops underneath should still comply with the Grandstand Admission dress code.
Midriffs must be covered.
Shorts are not permitted.
Gentlemen
Gentlemen are required to wear a suit with a shirt and tie.
Girls
Girls (17 or under) should be dressed for a formal occasion. Smart summer dresses are suggested. Hats, headpieces and fascinators may be worn but are not compulsory.
Boys
Boys aged (13-17) should wear a suit or jacket with a shirt and a tie. Younger boys (12 or under) should be dressed smartly but are not required to wear a jacket or tie.

What is the dress code for the Pavilion Restaurant VIP Hospitality at Ascot Racecourse?
Based in the prestigious Queen Anne Enclosure, our Pavilion Restaurant VIP Hospitality Package has a strict dress code for Royal Ascot in 2027 at Ascot Racecourse.
For Gentlemen, male guests may wear a suit with a collared shirt and tie, and jackets and trousers of matching colour and pattern, whilst socks must be worn at all times and must cover the ankles. Please do note that bow ties, cravats, jeans, chinos, and trainers are NOT acceptable.
Boys aged 13 to 16 should wear a jacket or suit with a shirt and tie, whilst younger boys aged 12 or under should be dressed smartly, but no jacket or tie is required.
As for Ladies, female guests can wear a dress or a top with a skirt with shoulder or halter neck straps (lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted with no minimum length), a trouser suit of matching material and colour, a jumpsuit that falls below the knee and complies with the shoulder strap requirements, whilst a hat, headpiece, or fascinator are to be worn all day.
Additionally, girls aged 10 to 16 should be dressed for a formal occasion, with a smart summer dress suggested. However, hats, fascinators, and headpieces are NOT compulsory.
