More Clues for Royal Ascot

Another fantastic weekend of racing action provided us with more clues for Royal Ascot which begins in 15 days’ time. Horse racing’s most stylish meeting runs between Tuesday 16th and Saturday 20th June 2015, where Eventmasters guests will be enjoying the outstanding Royal Ascot hospitality facilities.

Chester May Festival winner Clever Cookie further enhanced his Gold Cup claims with victory in the Listed Grand Cup at York. Peter Niven’s seven-year-old looks a much improved horse this season and strolled to comfortable success on Saturday. He is now as short as 9/1 for the showpiece race on Thursday 18th June and the ‘stayers’ contest is shaping up to be a titanic encounter for Royal Ascot Ladies Day hospitality guests to enjoy.

Limato tasted his first defeat at Haydock on Saturday as Adaay shot clear to win the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes. The William Haggas three-year-old reversed the juvenile form with the even money favourite Limato and moved into 9/2 for the Commonwealth Cup. Henry Candy’s sprinter still sits at the top of the market for Royal Ascot’s newest Group 1 contest, which replaces the Buckingham Palace Stakes on Friday 19th June. The three-year-old sprint will be a fast and furious contest which will thrill Eventmasters Royal Ascot hospitality guests.

Haggas’s fantastic weekend continued as Muthmir landed a Group 2 contest across the Channel at Chantilly. After a late plunge in the betting Paul Hanagan’s mount was sent off as the 6/4 favourite and took home the spoils by a short-head in a photo-finish. The five-year-old was cut into 5/1 for the King’s Stand Stakes on the opening day of the Royal Meeting. 2014 winner Sole Power heads the market at 4/1 for the Group 1 sprint, which will be another fantastic contest for Eventmasters Royal Ascot hospitality guests to enjoy.

Australian star Brazen Beau is leaning towards a tilt at the Diamond Jubilee Stakes on the final day of Royal Ascot – Saturday 20th June. Trainer Chris Waller does have the option of going for the King’s Stand Stakes, but seems set to send the three-year-old to the Saturday race where he is 4/1 favourite.
